Required Maintenance
Occasionally during these inspections there will be equipment due for routine servicing. For example, fire extinguishers must be pulled and serviced every 6 years.
Extinguishers and other gaseous cylinders must be hydrostatic tested every 6-12 years.
Most buildings and commercial vehicles require an annual inspection of their fire and life-safety equipment to be conducted by a certified company in order be compliant.
